ISINGIZWE Mutabazi Emmanuel

Spatial Data Analyst
Isingizwe Mutabazi Emmanuel is a detail-oriented and passionate environmental planner and GIS enthusiast with a Bachelor’s degree in Geography (Environmental Planning) from the University of Rwanda (2024). He has developed strong practical experience through several internships, including at the National Institute of Statistics of Rwanda (2024–present), where he supports spatial data analysis and mapping. From February to April 2024, he interned at the University of Rwanda’s CGIS, leading a project on urban agriculture land under pressure from city growth. Between January and April 2024, he served at the Albertine Rift Conservation Society (ARCOS), applying GIS and remote sensing for landscape assessment and monitoring. Emmanuel also held a leadership role as President of the Geography Students’ Association of Rwanda (2023–2024), demonstrating his ability to manage teams and organize initiatives. His skills include ArcGIS, QGIS, remote sensing, data visualization, and environmental assessment. He is committed to using geospatial technologies to address environmental and community development challenges.
